You can visit Santa in Lapland direct from Liverpool Airport this December
Fancy going to see Father Christmas in person? Of course you do! And you can now pay the big man in the big red suit a visit direct via Liverpool Airport.
Transun have announced an exciting new day trip to True Lapland – the home of the real Father Christmas – flying from Liverpool John Lennon Airport in December 2017.
As a tour operator with over thirty five years’ experience, Transun are proud to offer the widest selection of departure airports from the UK to Lapland – more than any other operator. Their direct charter service, operates to Enontekio Airport in the beautiful far north of Finland. They are pleased to extend the programme this year with a new flight from Liverpool airport.
Departing from Liverpool early on 21 December, families will be able to enjoy a day in the pristine wilderness of Lapland. Upon arrival, there’s a chance to sample traditional Lappish activities including husky sledding, snowmobiling and even a gentle venture on a reindeer sleigh ride. The highlight of everyone’s day is sure to be the search for Santa’s traditional log cabin. There’s time to play in the snow too before flying back to Liverpool airport, taking your memories home just in time for bed.
To celebrate the launch of the departure, there are a limited number of Free Child Places on offer for parties of three or more and Half Price Child Places for parties of two or more. Spaces are strictly limited.
Transun’s Lucas Clements comments: “As Christmas draws closer but you’re short on time, a day trip to Lapland is guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit – a memorable time for adults and children alike. We are delighted to be able to offer this magical day trip from Liverpool in 2017 and look forward to welcoming guests to this very special part of the world.”
Director of Air Service Development for Liverpool John Lennon Airport – Paul Winfield commented: “We are delighted to welcome a new tour operator to the Liverpool market and look forward to welcoming passengers at the start of their exciting visit to Lapland from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.”
