Disco Spectacular, ‘Mam! I’m Ere’ is on now at Liverpool’s Royal Court

MAM! I’M ‘ERE! is back in and already has audiences on their feet and in stitches at the Royal Court. The Guide Liverpool’s, Lindzi Germain is in the show and we gave her a camera to go and find out more.

The show garnered rave reviews during its first Royal Court run, picking up five stars from a number of different critics. It’s a laugh out loud show with a seventies disco soundtrack performed live by the hugely talented cast and musicians.

Written and directed by Stephen Fletcher, the cast includes Jake Abraham, Eithne Browne, Michael Fletcher, Stephen Fletcher, Lynn Francis, Lindzi Germain, Hayley Sheen, Mia Molloy, Andrew Schofield, and Rachael Wood.

Sally was left on her Dad’s doorstep one cold and windy Liverpool night.

25 years later and she has met the love of her life on her Dad’s failing Disco holiday campsite in Wales. There is just one person missing from her wedding plans – her Mam.

After teasing out stories from her Dad’s best mates she narrows her search down to three very different women from his past…

Packed with hit after hit from the 1970s (but definitely no Abba) this show will have you dancing in the aisles.

The show has the blessing of the producers of MAMMA MIA! who have sent Life in Theatre, who co-produce the show, their very best wishes for the run.

Kevin Fearon, The Executive Producer at Liverpool’s Royal Court, is excited to see the show return: “We had such fun with Mam! I’m ‘Ere! last time that I promised myself that we would bring it back. The music in the show makes it impossible to resist for audiences who are up for a good night out. Stephen is someone who we have worked with many times before and we are made up to be working with him again. It sold very strongly last time and we are already dusting off the sold out signs in anticipation of another great run!”
