Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo

Saturday headline act, Jason almost didn’t become the pop sensation he is today after being scouted as a talented basketball player at the age of 12. Luckily for us, his fancy footwork was better used for choreographing his music videos and basketball is reserved for his NBA regulation sized court at his 12,500-square-foot LA mansion. (He also has a shark tank!)

Tinie Tempah

Tinie Tempah

Real name, Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, Jr, got his stage name after looking up ‘Anger’ in the thesaurus. He thought Temper sounded too aggressive, so he added Tinie to become the award winning rapper we all love! Who can believe its been 6 years since debut single ‘Pass Out’ was released?

Labrinth

Labrinth - 1Xtra Live BBC - The Guide Liverpool

Singer, Songwriter Labrinth was Simon Cowell’s first non-talent show signing in 6 years when he signed to Syco Music as a solo act. He quickly made an impact on the UK charts as his collaboration with Tinie Tempah ‘Pass Out’ made it to the number one spot in March 2010. One our fave ever summer tracks ‘Let The Sun Shine’ followed in September 2010 reaching number 3 in the charts and an eternal place on everyone’s summer playlists.

Craig David TS5

Craig David

Craig David is bringing the Miami heat to Liverpool this weekend, as the exclusive pre-party nights hosted at his penthouse home have now taken over the world club scene, and we’re about to get a piece of the old school anthem action. Did you know Craig has a bit of a man crush on David Beckham and Brad Pitt: “They’re hot, you cant deny it, every guy in the world thinks so.” He admitted……and we agree!

Sigma

Sigma - The Guide Liverpool

Drum and Base, DJ and producers, Sigma’s debut single ‘Lassitude’ peaked at number 98 in the charts back in 2010. 98! Unbelievable when you think their smash hit ‘Nobody To Love’ went straight in at number 1, selling over 121,000 copies in the first week. Duo Cam and Joe have a busy September ahead, not only playing Fusion Festival Liverpool this Saturday, but also Bingley Music Live, in West Yorkshire on the same day. Gorra love some weekend M62 action!

Fleur East

Fleur East

Did you know that former X Factor contestant Fleur actually took part in the show TWICE? Girl-group Addictiv Ladies (featuring Fleur and childhood friends Nicola, Stephanie and Vivienne) were voted out of the show in 2005 as Louis Walsh voted to save Chicco instead, sigh! Luckily Fleur staged a comeback as a solo artists in 2014 and became the show’s first contestant to reach number one in the UK I tunes Store chart with her performance of ‘Uptown Funk’. Random fact, Fleur can touch her nose with her tongue. Skills!
