Girls – Get fit during International Women’s Day on Tuesday…
This Girl Can is a national campaign developed by Sport England and in partnership with Liverpool City Council. This Girl Can aims to help women become more active and lose those body issues behind.
Fitness is now a massive trend in Liverpool and more woman than ever go to a gym in the city! That’s amazing. But, there are still plenty of women out there too scared to wear gym clothes, never mind step foot inside a gym! This is what ‘This Girl Can’ and partnering organisations want to change.
Next Tuesday 8th March is national ‘Woman’s Empowerment Day’ or ‘International Woman’s Day’ to others. This Girl Can Liverpool are hosting a number of FREE fitness classes and events across the city.
The This Girl Can campaign and International Women’s Day are both so empowering – they have really strong and positive messages and we’re delighted that on Tuesday so many women in Liverpool will be out in force celebrating getting active!
Liverpool’s This Girl Can is teaming up with Lifestyles for a Mass Participation Activity Event
The more participants the better so come along and join in the fun at St Georges Hall 10 – 11am Tuesday 8th March and bring a friend. Metafit
