John Lennon will be lonely no more as a bronze statue of Cilla Black is unveiled on Mathew Street on Monday morning at 11am. Following her tremendous contribution to music and entertainment, with a career spanning more than 50 years, Cilla will stand in all her early 60’s glory alongside The Cavern, where her career began. Feel Good Factor

BAFTA in Birkenhead
The Williamson Gallery is delighted to be hosting BAFTA’s touring exhibition of photographic images from behind the scenes of classic film Bugsy Malone. Taken by photographer David Appelby, this photo exhibition runs from January 18th until mid February and will feature a gala night of entertainment on Feb 10th. Sanity Events are back at Underground Liverpool on Saturday with their biggest line-up to date. Chocolate Puma return to destroy the dancefloor and have heavy support in the form of Dutch duo MOKSI and young and talented Curbi, both of which are making their Liverpool debut. Kicking off at 10pm on Saturday night this Funky House event is already a sell out but you can join the waiting list here.
