Fiddler at the Everyman

You have been raving about Fiddler on the Roof, the first of the Everyman’s new Rep Company performances, currently enjoying a four week run at the Everyman Theatre, Hope Street. Artistic Director Gemma Bodinetz saying that by having a Rep Company at the theatre – fourteen local actors, some new and emerging, others recognisable names, means “we’re creating a family that can really respond to the City, who will create a conversation with our audiences and will together create vibrant, vital work.” Our review and tickets are available here. Leap 2017, Make Liverpool

Something exciting is happening in Liverpool’s Docklands. MDI are teaming up with Make Liverpool and Unity Theatre for a very special 25th Anniversary of LEAP Dance Festival. Between the 1st and 12th March 2017 LEAP Dance Festival will occupy Make Liverpool, transforming the space in to a purpose built dedicated dance space, housing the entirety of the festival. The Beatles: Eight Days A Week, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic

Your Guide Liverpool is back at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic on Wednesday night for the rescheduled showing of Academy Award winner Ron Howard’s authorised and highly anticipated documentary feature film uses rare and exclusive footage to explore the first part of The Beatles’ career (1962-1966). The Western Approaches is Back, Exchange Flags

Your Guide Liverpool loves a bit of local history and the Western Approaches is right on our doorstep! Walk through hidden rooms and discover the stories locked in the wartime bunker that protected the tactics and secrets of the British Armed Forces plotting to bulwark the Western Approaches and aid the Allied victory. The Western Approaches Museum reopens for the season on March 1st and gives visitors a rare glimpse of the documents and tools used to monitor enemy convoys, including one of only two surviving wartime phones which had a direct connection to the war cabinet in London. Get Ready for the Launch, The Shipping Forecast

Spektrum is a brand new enterprise striving to push underground DnB music in Liverpool. We are a non-profit organisation comprised of passionate DnB fans, and our primary goal is to put on high quality events at affordable prices. To get the ball rolling, we’re throwing a massive launch party in The Shipping Forecast’s basement known as ‘The Hold’ on Friday 3rd March in Liverpool city centre. The Force is Strong, The Atkinson, Southport

May The Toys Be With You is one of the country’s finest Star Wars collections of memorabilia, toys and posters owned by collector Matt Fox and you’re almost out of time to view them at The Atkinson, Southport. The toys and collectables from this period, including X-wings, lightsabers, posters and figures will all be on display in this magical exhibition for families of all ages to enjoy. Threshold Festival 31st March – 2nd April, Baltic Triangle

Threshold is Liverpool’s festival of grassroots music and arts and now is the time to get your tickets and if you can, also pledge your support to make it bigger and better than ever before. Threshold Festival launched their campaign just a few weeks ago following a shortfall in funding ahead of their 7th annual event in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
