If you’re attending the sold out performance of Sgt Pepper by The Bootleg Beatles on Wednesday night, don’t rush off. Roxanne de Bastion will be playing Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 50 years to the day since it was first released. She will be joined on stage by house band The Ragamuffins, plus guests. Tickets here.

Your Guide Liverpool loves a bit of contact sport and if you’re into your wrestling, this Saturday’s mash up at the 02 Academy is unmissable. Joseph Conners managed to keep his undefeated record intact against a very game “White Lightning” Mark Andrews at the last show and he has asked TNT Management for a new challenge to prove he is ready for Bubblegum and the title. Saturdays and Smithdown go together like salt n’ pepper and we reckon pizza and a cold beer with family or friends at Tribeca is a great way to spend a weekend. Luminarium at Chavasse Park, Liverpool One
Our luck may have run out when it comes to the fine weather this week, so why not shelter inside a giant rainbow at Liverpool One? The Luminarium visits Chavasse Park from 29th May until 4th June and you’re invited to explore this vast chasm and it’s spectrum of colours.
