SPORT: We catch up with Paddy ‘The Baddy’ ahead of Cage Warriors 90

After enduring ‘the worst year of my life’ in 2017 – Paddy ‘The Baddy’ is fighting fit and ready to take on all-comers this year.

One of the fastest-growing sports in the world will take centre stage at Echo Arena Liverpool this month as Cage Warriors 90 returns to the city. Our Matt talks to Paddy Pimblett as he looks forward to getting back into the ring and re-staking his claim as a Cage Warriors title contender.

Competing at lightweight for the first time, Paddy will face 22-year old Greek Alex Savvidas at the Cage Warriors 90 event at the Echo Arena on 24th February 2018. We’re looking forward to seeing Paddy back at his brilliant best and putting on a show for his home crowd. Cage Warriors 90

Responsible for launching the career of Connor McGregor, Cage Warrior 90 will showcase the best fighting talent from the North West and beyond, with ticket sales soaring as Scousers flock to support their own.

Also fighting at the Cage Warriors 90 event is Liverpool’s own Molly McCann who is attempting to make history as the first ever Cage Warriors women’s flyweight champion. Defeated only once in her MMA career, Molly will come face-to-face with former training partner and friend, Bryony Tyrell, and will be looking to enhance her reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting fighters with another explosive victory.
