This Week in Liverpool 13th – 19th August 2018
It’s a brand new week crammed full of club nights, movie screenings and live music in Liverpool.
This week we’re partying with Madonna, marvelling at the King of Rock N Roll, getting our groove on with reggae and kicking back at Constellations with a weekend long celebration of new music too. This week in Liverpool it’s all about chilling out with film nights and recreating the good old days of pop. We’ve got delicious lunch menus including some seriously giant Yorkshires at NYL plus Sunday night swing and a high octane visit from Red Bull.
Monday 13th August
Heathers 30th Anniversary Screening, FACT
Oh Veronica! Can you believe it’s been 30 years since Winona Rider starred in cult classic Heathers? Relive all the drama with a special screening at FACT on Monday night. Tickets here.
Salsa at Pima Bar, Hilton Hotel
Hey snake hips, forget the gym this summer, get yourself down to Pima Bar at Hilton Hotel every Monday night for a bit of salsa action. There’s classes for beginners and a knees up afterwards too. Details here.
Summer Gaming at Roxy Ball Room
Open from midday til late, and serving food from 3pm daily, Roxy Ball Room is the perfect place for a bit of summer competition. Line up the beer pong, pool or ping pong and loser gets the ale in. Info here.
Tuesday 14th August
Lunch at Il Forno, Duke Street
Duke Street Italian, Il Forno, has new opening hours and with tasty, authentic dishes served from 12pm – 2:30pm during the week, we’re stopping by to snap up this lush king prawn and burrata cheese pizza for a quick lunch. Menus and more here.
Xjukebox Pier Head Village Summer Party
Looking for a unique place for a few after work bevs this week? Head down to Pier Head Village and chill as Xjukebox take over the decks on the waterfront for a residency at the Helicopter bar. More info here.
