This Week in Liverpool 20th – 27th August 2018: Bank Holiday Special

We’ve waited months for another bank holiday weekend and we’re definitely making the most of this one!

Does anyone really care that we’ve seen the last of the sunshine? Not likely, with so much going on in the city we haven’t got time to sun bathe! It’s set to stay dry this bank holiday weekend and that’s enough to have us flocking to the roof tops, gardens and terraces for music festivals galore. Folk on the Dock, Creamfields, International Beatleweek, plus street parties, markets and throw back bashes await.

Monday 20th August

Live Special, Hot Water Comedy Club

Monday nights is all about brand new comedy with up to 10 professional comedians taking to the Hot Water stage for a live, recorded special. Hot Water Comedy club tickets here. 

Liverpool Showcase, Frederik’s

Radio Kings are back performing live at Frederiks, Hope Street tonight from 8:30pm. These informal band rehearsal events are super chilled, it’s free entry and a perfect excuse for a Monday night gin! Info here. 

Crystal Palace V Liverpool

If you’re looking for somewhere to watch the game on Monday night, how about with a brilliant atmosphere at Yates’ Queen Square? There’s drinks offers on and KO is 8pm. Details here. 


Tuesday 21st August

Jake Shears, Live at Arts Club

Folk on the Dock, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool

Run for Rhys, Croxteth Park
