So last week we had some technical difficulties and couldn’t get #TrendingLiverpool out to you. We did see Liverpool host the Mersey River Festival, the death of the world’s greatest and the start of the Euros 2016. I’ll throw a few highlights from last week into the mix for this weeks post.. However this week alone we have seen thing heat up with the EU referendum and tragic events surrounding that. In the city we have seen the Tunnel Run 10k, the African Oye festival in Sefton park and much more! Here is a selection of 17 tweets that I have highlighted for us from the past couple of weeks..

Not forgetting, last weekend was also Soccer Aid..

Not forgetting the Euros have started too..

More lovely pictures from This Is Liverpool.

A fair point here..

I have no idea why nobody has thought of this..

I’ll be joining him..

Crouchy made me proper nostalgic..

And after a week of sad news, Liverpool showed solidarity with Orlando..

I decided to run The Tunnel Run 10k with no training, but managed to get to the end none the less..

I have been touched by the online efforts of Charlies parents to raise funds to get Charlie much needed treatment in the states. If tweets are worth seeing, its these ones.. Let me leave you with these to retweet.
