Watch as we meet DJ Trevor Nelson ahead of his LIMF 2018 DJ Set

The countdown to LIMF 2018 is officially on and the king of RNB and Hip Hop, DJ Trevor Nelson is back to play a brand new stage.

Last year he filled the Sefton Park Palm House with funk, soul, RNB and hip hop (and it was so good, Shola Ama cried!) but this July, Radio 1Extra DJ and UK music pioneer, Trevor Nelson will have the brand new True School Club House tent jumping with his favourite tracks from all the best artists.

Playing on Saturday 21st July alongside Danny Rampling and Soul II Soul’s Jazzie B, Trevor will be pooling his extensive knowledge and experience of touring with Soul Nation to put on one hell of a show for day one of LIMF 2018. With a decorated career in radio, tv and of course, on the decks, there’s no denying Trevor knows what gets a crowd bouncing.

Watch above as our Kate caught up with Trevor at Malmaison Liverpool to find out what’s on that set list and what he thinks about the Scouse music scene and watch below for the full uncut chat.
