What’s on in Liverpool this week 16th – 22nd July 2018

Grab your dancing shoes and warm up your voice, the biggest week of music is upon us.

The temperatures are set to stay in the twenties for another summer week in Liverpool and we’ve got a great line up of events for you to enjoy the fresh air, sun and even the stars too!

School is soon to be out for the whole of Merseyside, so of course we have loads of info on how you can keep the kids entertained, and with things like Calderstones Beach returning this weekend it won’t be difficult to keep them happy!

Music takes a front seat this week with the highly anticipated return of LIMF at Sefton Park, plus lots of great tribute acts and theatre productions too. We’re toasting with Gin, shaking our thing with salsa and preparing for some Dirty Dancing too!

Monday 16th July

Breakfast on the Go, The Bagelry

We’re starting our music mad week with fresh bagels for breakfast from The Bagelry, Nelson St. Which is your favourite flavour? Menus and more here. 

Liverpool Biennial, George Henry Lees, Parker Street

Liverpool Biennial gets into full swing this week with art installations, exhibitions and displays right across the city, including at the former George Henry Lees building and St George’s Hall. See what’s on here. 

Prince’s Protégé, Judith Hill performs live

We can’t wait to hear Judith Hill play at The Shipping Forecast on Monday night, dubbed the ‘Prince Protege’, she’s going to be your fave new artist.  Find out more here.


Tuesday 17th July

Salsa Tuesdays, Arthouse Hotel

Wednesday 18th July

The Dreamboys, Liverpool Empire

The world famous Dreamboys make a one night only special appearance at the Liverpool Empire on Wednesday night. Phwoar! Tickets here. 

Eden Live, Shankly Hotel

Fancy a bit of live music, chilled out beats, great conversation and more? Head up on the roof at The Shankly Hotel for Eden Live, a kind of Later with Jools Holland, free entry event.

Vegan Pie, Peas & Prosecco at Baltic Social

Well this is a brand new mash up we can’t wait to try! Baltic Social is hosting a vegan pie, peas and prosecco social from 7pm on Wednesday night. Book here and tuck in. 


Thursday 19th July

Outdoor Yoga, Bombed Out Church

LIMF 2018

Summer in Liverpool starts here! LIMF 2018 kicks off from 12pm at Sefton Park and on Saturday you can see the likes of Example, DJ Wire, Wylie, Trevor Nelson, James Hype, Jax Jones and more. Full line up here.

Calderstones Beach is back!

Schools out and with Calderstones Beach returning for it’s 4th year this Saturday you won’t hear any moaning that the kids are bored all summer long With brand new rides and something for kids of all ages to enjoy, this family friendly day out is great value for money, with free entry into the giant sandy beach and great offers on rides.
