Burger lovers rejoice! Second Five Guys to open in the city this time in Liverpool ONE
Authentic American burger brand, Five Guys, is to open a flagship restaurant at Liverpool ONE this summer.
The 175 seater restaurant is due to open on The Terrace later this year, moving into the former Café Rouge unit. This follows from the cult American chain’s first Liverpool restaurant opening in Queen Square last year when official figures revealed that the Queen Square Five Guys was the second most successful opening in the company’s history, worldwide. Proving that scousers love it so it is only right that a second venue shoudl open in the city.
Five Guys will join a range of family dining restaurants on The Terrace, including Wagamama, Pizza Express, and Gourmet Burger Kitchen, as well as Liverpool ONE’s 18-screen Odeon cinema.
Chris Bliss, Estate Director at Liverpool ONE, said: “Five Guys has quickly established itself as a firm favourite with visitors to Liverpool city centre. We are delighted to see them choose Liverpool ONE as their new home.
“It showcases the strength of the leisure offer at Liverpool ONE with high profile brands choosing here for their flagship stores.”
Neville Mailing, Head of Property at Five Guys, added: “Securing a location on The Terrace at Liverpool ONE fulfills a long-held ambition for Five Guys. We are in a prime location in one of the UK’s prime cities.”
The news follows other exciting dining additions at Liverpool ONE. In the last 12 months, Liverpool ONE has welcomed new brands to the city including Cosy Club and Yard & Coop.
Already this year, Liverpool ONE has announced that Guess, Superdry and JD Sports are to create new regional flagship stores.
