5 PLACES TO PARTY IN LIVERPOOL THIS WEEKEND
With the sun still shining, payday for many and thousands of new students also partying away in the city it is the perfect weekend to go out and play. We have chosen 5 nights that are guaranteed to bring out the party animal in you…
Chibuku Shake Shake – Saturday 3rd October
East Village Arts Club is the location for the next legendary Chibuku night. Julio Bashmore, Jax Jones & Bondax amongst the names on this, yet another superb lineup from the Chibuku team, now in their 15th year of creating unmissable dance events.
If it is fun, glamour, fabulousness (yes, we made that word up!) and craziness you are after then you need to get to Garlands. And you are guaranteed a night of all of the above. Did you know it is the longest established Saturday resident dance night in the country, that is HUGE! In our opinion we are lucky to have such a unique and ‘happy go’ venue in our city. This Saturday Garlands celebrates it’s birthday (but don’t, whatever you do, ask how old she is!). Not onlyk celebrating her birthday, but expect a show fit for a Queen as it is the official launch of the Garlands year of the drag queen.
Eccentrico at Circo
Circo has to be one of the most unique and eccentric venues in the city, hence the name of its new night. Prepare to be astounded by the aerial trapeze artists, flabbergasted by the fire jugglers, bewitched by the burlesque dancers, creeped out by the clowns and tickled pink by the “little people”!!! With The Guide Liverpool’s DJs Lee Butler, Rob Mcpartland, Jay Hardman & Robbie Edwards playing the very best in club classics and deep house plus the mythical Freakshow acts entertaining the crowd throughout the night it is the perfect place to play.
ALSO – Check out Lee Butler’s first ever Guide Liverpool mix – every Friday he starts your weekend in style with an exclusive mix of all your favourite anthems.

Medication at Nation
If you have your NUS card then do not miss one of the (if not the) biggest student experiences in the city and probably the UK. Every Friday the famous Nation is turned into a huge indoor festival with massive production including pyrotechnics, giant LED screens, CO2 cannons, confetti cannons, giant inflatables, dancers & fire eaters, 3000 capacity, 3 rooms of music and much, much more.
Industry Sunday’s at Ink Bar
Now one of the staple night’s out in the city w e are so glad Industry Sunday’s is back and in it’s brand new home, Ink Bar. In our opinion on of the hottest and coolest new venues in Liverpool. Stylish cocktails and table service mixed in with the best tatt artits and barbers in the city who will tatt & trim you on site whilst you enjoy a drink. This week is of course Derby Day, and this venue will provide the perfect after party, win or loose. Resident DJ’s for Industry Sundays include Juice FM’s Liam Hincks. Perfect place to finish your weekend in style and continue the party well in to Monday morning.
