Schools officially out for summer and we’ve got our biggest line up of family fun to date.

Plan a summer packed with fun, thrills and spills this July & August across Merseyside with our 75 Summer Holiday run down of what’s on right across the City Region. From all the major attractions to festivals, days out, cultural adventures, affordable places to eat, there’s something for kids of all ages.

Don’t forget the easiest way to get around our region is by using one of our amazing public transport networks. The Merseyrail Family Ticket is great value and you get more information and plan your journey here. 1 – Summer Science Club, Victoria Gallery

2 – Family Yoga at Sefton Park Palm House

Grab a mat and get ready for some family chill time at Sefton Park Palm House. Bendy, stretchy fun. Dates here. 

3 – Make Chinese Zodiac Masks, World Museum

4 – CBBC Summer Social

Croxteth Park is set to host a Summer Social from 3-5th August and all your fave faces will be there. Tickets here. 

5 – Incredibles 2 Training Academy

There’s super hero family action on the big screen as Disney’s Incredibles 2 hits our cinemas. Listings here. 

6 – Stanley Park Junior Park Run

Every Sunday at 9am your kids (age 4-14) can take on the free 2km organised fun run at Stanley Park. Details here.

7 – Bombed Out Church Summer Party

There’s a fab Aloha Luau party happening at the Bombed Out Church on 29th July with Jumping Jacks. Tickets here.

8 – Run for Rhys, Croxteth Park

Bank holiday weekend sees the second Run for Rhys & Family day take place at Croxteth Park. Get involved here. 

9 – Pirate on the Dock Festival

Royal Albert Dock welcomes Pirates, Mermaids and epic battles when Pirates on the Dock returns in September. Info here. 

10 – Kids Eat Free at Jamie’s Italian

11 – Make Pride Badges at Slavery Museum

Echo Arena will become a mini Jurassic Park this summer as Walking With Dinosaurs being the prehistoric to life. Tickets here. 

60 – Liverpool Fire Session, Sefton Park

Take the kids to see Sefton Park lake light up like never before with a Fire display for all to enjoy on 27th July. Info here. 

61 – KidsFest, Stanley Park

63 – Climb the Cathedral Bell Tower

Tate Liverpool offers kids a brilliant rocket backpack full of crafty ideas to explore the exhibitions on display and the best bit is, its free! Info here. 

74 – Hat Making at Maritime Museum

With the sun set to shine throughout August (for a change) why not head down to Maritime Museum and make yourself a sun hat in the craft sessions. More info here.
