Bongos Bingo backs Charlies Chance

Thursday 7th July: Jonny Bongo and the team behind Bongo’s Bingo will be donating all of the profits from Saturday’s event at Camp and Furnace to Charlie’s Chance in a bid to help him achieve his fundraising target. Charlie Fearns, from Litherland, has relapsed for the third time with leukaemia and urgently requires a CAR-T transplant only available in Seattle. He is currently being treated at Alder Hey, Liverpool but the specific treatment he requires is unavailable in the UK.

Bongo’s Bingo has affirmed itself as a “must go” event in the city and beyond with events now taking place around the UK. The sell-out events offer a brand new take on bingo with infamous surprise live performances which have previously included David Hasselhoff, B*witched and Ms. Dynamite.

The event is also famed for its imaginative and original prizes, with players giving their full concentration to walk away with items including a 5ft gnome, mobility scooters, a box of Coco Pops or the top prize of £1000 cash. On Saturday, all prizes will be donated by local businesses to ensure the event raises the maximum amount for Charlie.

The treatment is Seattle is a pioneering treatment with high success rate so it’s vital we can get him there. I want to say the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart from everyone who has helped support the campaign and give Charlie and chance!”

Charlies Chance Bongo’s Bingo will take place on Saturday 9th July with tickets available for a suggested donation between £10 and £20 here.
