Cbeebies star Andy Day brings May half term fun to Liverpool ONE

Cbeebies star Andy Day makes a return visit to Liverpool ONE this half term with exciting news about the BBC Summer Social at Croxteth Country Park.


Dinosaurs Unleashed at Liverpool ONE has proven to be a huge hit since Cbeebies presenter Andy Day stopped by to get the Chavassic party started. Andy is back in town this May half term, this time with his band ‘The Odd Socks’ ahead of their appearance at the BBC Summer Social at Croxteth Country Park on 3rd and 4th August 2019.

Andy and the band will perform live at Customs House Place (near the steps at John Lewis) on Thursday 30th May at 11:30am. The show is free to attend and is set to be a big hit with Cbeebies fans. Bring your little movers and shakers down to have a boogie and join in the fun.

Alongside this fab, free event, Liverpool ONE is offering you the chance to win a family pass for the BBC Summer Social at Croxteth Country Park this Summer.

The line up for the two day family festival includes music from Pixie Lott, Busted, Rak-Su, and John Newman, Nina Nesbitt and Freya Ridings broadcast live on Radio 2, along with CBBC favourites including The Next Step, and Almost Never and much more.

1 – Dinosaurs Unleashed

There’s just a week left you hatch your own Jurassic bestie using the Dinosaurs Unleashed augmented reality app at Liverpool ONE. Simply seek out a giant dino egg on your next visit and explore Chavassic Park’s feeding posts and battle arena. Think Tamagotchi’s but super cool. Ends on 2nd June, more info here. 

2 – Art Lab at Apple

Why not get creative at a free Today at Apple experience? Little ones can get arty with drawing applications or even play movie director with some of the footage they’ve taken at Dinosaurs Unleashed. Pop into store or head this way to find out what’s on when.

3 – Odeon Kids Club

There’s some brilliant family fun on the big screen on offer at ODEON Liverpool ONE this half term. Detective Pikachu and Aladdin are now showing alongside ODEON Kids Club classics, where tickets are just £2.50! See what’s on here. 

4 – A Whole New World at Disney

With the release of Disney’s live action Aladdin, Disney Store at Liverpool ONE has the brand new range of action figures, costumes and accessories now in-store. You can even buy your very own magic carpet! Find out more here. 

 

5 – Dine in the Coop

Kids eat free between 12pm and 6pm every day at Hanover Street’s Yard & Coop. So book yourself in to the coop and chow down on the tastiest buttermilk fried chicken while playing with Lego and crayons. Dinner that doesn’t break the bank! Menus here.
