Charity Takeover Week: What is Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and what can you do to help?
It is a place very close to many in Merseyside and beyond, Clatterbridge Cancer Charity helps over 28,000 people every year and raises over £2 million for those affected by cancer. However they still need to do more and have big plans for their new Liverpool hospital.
Throughout today you will meet patients, staff and others involved with the charity in the hope that you may also be able to help, all part of our Charity Takeover Week here on The Guide Liverpool.
We met Katrina Bury who is Head of The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity to find out about the appeal for the new hospital, and get some more info on what the charity does, what it needs and what the future holds.
To find out more about The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and how you can donate, or get involved in fundraising, see www.clatterbridgecc.org.uk or call 0151 556 5566.
Lots more on Clatterbridge throughout the day and on Wednesday we focus our attention on Alder Hey and on Friday it is all about R Charity for the new Royal Liverpool Hospital.
