For a mere £3.20 you can feast on a portion of these delightful dumplings and even better, you can get them delivered straight to your door! A Supermarket Sweep

If you fancy a bit of a challenge this Chinese New Year weekend, why not have a go at creating your favourite dishes at home, using authentic ingredients from one of the many local Chinese supermarkets? We’ve reckon you’ll be amazed by some of the exotic products that are available right on our doorstep, and its a great experience for the little chefs too! Recipe at the ready, here’s three of the best Liverpool based Chinese supermarkets that will inspire your cooking.

1 – Matta’s International Foods, Bold Street. From rice vinegar to bean curd and wheatgrass powder, you’ll find all manner of wonderful items right in the heart of the city, at Matta’s.

2 – Hondo Supermarket, Upper Duke Street. A supplier not only to local people but also the nearby restaurant trade, Hondo Supermarket is probably the most famous and recognisable store, right opposite the Chinese Arch.
