Come and meet the vendors bringing Grand Central Food Bazaar to life this summer
Grand Central welcomes 12 new foodie concepts to the former Quiggins site.
Liverpool is fast becoming the culinary capital of the north and the newly revamped Grand Central complex on Renshaw Street is about to launch a brand new dining concept that will get your tastebuds tingling.
Joining two ground-floor bars, the infamous Barcelona and Bar Racine, a bustling street food restaurant space called the Grand Central Food Bazaar will feature 12 different independent food offerings and a restaurant space for customers to dine in style.
The Bazaar is in collaboration with the team behind Izakaya on Castle Street and along with Fuel Station’s Kurt Wilson, will see local independent producers such as BARNA from SKAUS, Funky Lemon, Grindr and more, come together to feed the Liverpool masses in a venue like no other. If you’re a veggie, vegan or pescatarian there’s also plenty on the varying menus for you too.
Expect everything from Japanese cuisine, superfood salads, fresh bagels, an oyster bar, deli and a chocolate stall to name just a few, plus tantalising sharing boards and weekly specials, that are perfect for after work nibbles or pre-night out carb loading. Grand Central Food Bazaar launches on Friday 29th June 2018.
Grand Central Food Bazaar is part of a huge renovation project that has seen the Grand II listed site transformed into a multi use site. The most jaw-dropping part of the refurbishment has to be experienced through the Mount Pleasant entrance where guests walk through the gardens to Grand Central Hall.
Grand Central Hall is almost unrecognisable and already hosting hugely successful events such as World Cup screenings, film nights and private functions such as weddings. Grand Central Hotel is also proving popular as tourists enjoy its central location and easy access from both Lime Street Station and Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
