Come inside The Jam’s About the Young Idea before anyone else…

The wait is finally over, one of the biggest and most interactive exhibitions to ever open in Liverpool is here. The Jam’s About the Young Idea is ready for you to explore and opens it’s doors tomorrow, Friday 1st July. We got a sneak peak and sent our Jam Cam inside to have a nosey for you and we caught up with currator Nicky Weller.

The Jam drummer Rick Buckler will officially open the brand new interactive exhibition at Liverpool’s Cunard Building tomorrow.

The showcase is the most comprehensive exploration of the music, background, political and social impact of The Jam and features more than 5,000 pieces of memorabilia.

Curated by frontman Paul Weller’s sister Nicky, Russell Reader and Den Davis, the exhibition will include many never before seen items from the private archives of the band, as well as a collection of some of the most impressive memorabilia the bands’ loyal fan base have collected over the years.

Rick will welcome the first of thousands of fans expected to cross the exhibition threshold while it is on display until Sunday 25 September.  For full details of About The Young Idea visit
