Expectant Merseyside mums are invited to explore post-birth health at the Placenta Plus Open Day

Joining the world of parenthood for the first time can be pretty daunting, however one Liverpool mum is hoping to help others feel confident about their post-birth health and recovery with an open event this weekend.

Mum of three and founder of Placenta Plus, Danielle Kinney is passionate about helping women restore their natural balance after giving birth and to get back on their feet the natural way with her range of organic products. Starting her business after suffering from post natal depression herself, Danielle threw herself into researching the benefits of placenta pills, a phenomenon that began in America and quickly gained fans here in the UK.

Danielle and a legion of fans including Colleen Rooney and Real Housewives of Cheshire star, Tanya Bardsley know first hand how the range of placenta products, including pills, face cream, balm and more, can help with post-birth recovery. Danielle said: “More women now want to know exactly what they’re putting into their bodies and where its come from, especially when they’ve just given birth. The big advantage of placenta cream is that it contains the woman’s own collagen and stem cells and so her body is going to react much better to something it knows.”

Keen to share her experiences and meet expectant parents face to face, Danielle is working with a number of Merseyside pregnancy and post birth initiatives to put together an Open Day at The Secret Warehouse on Saturday 22nd July from 2pm – 5pm.

Mums-to-be, partners, family and friends are invited to join Placenta Plus for an informative and fabulous afternoon of interesting talks and advice from birthing professionals plus complimentary drinks and refreshments and even a goody bag!

Tickets are £20 which is deductible from any treatments booked on the day. Placenta Plus founder, Danielle will be answering all your questions about Placenta encapsulation and sharing her own experiences with you all too.

You can get your tickets for the Placenta Plus Open Day by heading to Eventbrite here, or head to the Facebook page here to find out more info.
