Dish of the Month – Pork Ramen with Soft Egg at Izakaya
Izakaya is made quite an impression at Liverpool Food & Drink Festival last year and has since opened its doors at its new restaurant on Castle Street. This particular dish shows exactly why they deserve to be housed amongst some of Liverpool’s premier eateries on Castle Street. The pork belly is clearly the freshest and finest quality cut and is cooked to perfection, the ramen does exactly what it should – warming and filling your belly simultaneously yet making you feel innately healthy. Finally, the soft egg is piece de resistance, something that many a ramen gets wrong as the egg Is over or under cooked. But, don’t worry about that here!
Bottomless Brunch in Style – Neighbourhood Castle Street
We had the pleasure of checking out the Neighbourhood, Castle Street Bottomless Brunch last weekend and it was a delight! Every Saturday and Sunday from 10am til 1pm you can dine on a range of delicious, traditional breakfast dishes including eggs benedict and smoked salmon, or sushi rolls or steak and eggs, and bottomless prosecco, seasonal cocktails or Bloody Marys for £35pp. Click here to find out more and book your spot.
(M)Eatery of the Month – Meet Argentinian Steakhouse
We’re becoming spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out in the city centre and slightly further afield. Meet Argentinian Steakhouse is one of the cities latest offerings for our carnivorous contingent and it really does raise the bar. From Atun Arrabiata Grilled Tuna Steak to Cordero A La Parrilla: Chargrilled Loin of Lamb, and of course an array of steak options, this steakhouse is sure to please meat eaters of all varieties. The other thing that you may notice is the sheer size of the drinks menu. When you’re having a premium quality steak, delivered fresh from premium quality butchers, what else does one need? That’s right, a premium quality wine; and Meet does not disappoint, with a vast array of options.
Veggie/Vegan Venue of the Month – Cosy Club
