Genting Casino in Queen Square launches Genting UK’s first interactive sports lounge

A brand new Sports Lounge opened this week in Liverpool, offering customers excellent sports viewing facilities along with new gaming products, at Genting Casino Queen Square.

The innovative sports lounge will show live sporting events throughout the year and will feature interactive TV screens, gaming tables offering the latest electronics games and a bar with a new food menu.

The main screens in the lounge will broadcast all the biggest sports events, including the upcoming boxing match between Liverpool local Tony Bellew and David Haye on Sunday, December 17th and the Merseyside derby on Sunday, December 10th.  The live odds for the events, provided by Genting Bet, will also be shown to customers on a separate side screen.

Customers can choose between playing roulette wheels on the casino floor or, for those after a different gaming experience, Genting Casino Queen Square will also be receiving live result broadcasts from Genting International Casino at Resorts World in Birmingham.

In addition, the unique facility will also feature the brand new Electronic Roulette Touch Table.  With an automated roulette wheel, players will be provided with their own touch screen on which they can place their bets. The table format allows for groups of friends to socialise around the table whilst still being able to play their numbers on the touch screen.

The casino has also revamped its food and drinks menu, which will be available in the evening and at weekends. It also includes a breakfast menu available at weekends and a late-night event menu.

Dan Lawton, Regional Marketing Manager at Genting Casino said: “We want to be the premier venue for live sport in the city and the introduction of our new Sports Lounge has ensured we are the best spot in town to enjoy any sporting event.

“The addition of live roulette tables, brand new gaming products and a bar with a food and drinks menu means the Sports Lounge is a great place to hang out and socialise with friends at any time.”
