Here’s why Grand Central Liverpool is the city’s new place to be

Come and explore one of the city’s most iconic buildings following its incredible refurbishment.

Grand Central Liverpool has undergone a stunning revamp and now offers shopping, dining, retail and leisure all under one stunningly beautiful roof.

Having stood tall on Renshaw Street for more than 100 years, Grand Central Liverpool has had many facelifts, but none as exciting as this. Grand Central Liverpool is on it’s way to becoming your favourite new hang out, from street food and live sport screenings, to big club nights, sophisticated prosecco parties and Grand Central Hotel can even provide somewhere for you to rest your head.

The two ground-floor bars, the infamous Barcelona and Bar Racine, will be joined by a bustling street food restaurant space called the Grand Bizzar. Featuring 12 different conceptual offerings to get your tastebuds tingling this brand new dining area will replace the former Quiggins and retail stalls at Grand Central Liverpool.  The Grand Bizaar is in collaboration with the team behind Izakaya on Castle Street, along with Fuel Station’s Kurt Wilson and will see local independent producers come together to feed the Liverpool masses in a venue like no other. Expect Japanese cuisine, fish & chips, burgers, an oyster bar, deli and a chocolate stall to name just a few when the Grand Bizaar launches on July 1st.

The most jaw-dropping part of the refurbishment has to be experienced through the Mount Pleasant entrance where guests walk through the gardens to Grand Central Hall. This former Victorian Theatre, which can accommodate up to 1200 people has been transformed into a multi-use space that is perfect for weddings, birthday celebrations, live music, fashion shows, corporate events and so much more.

Housing the largest video screen outside of Wembley, Grand Central Hall can host film screenings and live sporting action ensuring everyone gets the best view. Not content with just one accolade, Grand Central Hall also boasts the oldest working Grand Pipe Organ in the Northwest, an additional extra that is sure to make your big celebration one to remember!

If you’re looking for a city-centre venue to host your wedding, Grand Central Liverpool can offer an unrivalled package in a truly unique venue. Licensed for civil marriages and partnerships, Grand Central Hall is the perfect place to say I do. You can have photos in the gardens, make speeches on the stage, dance until the small hours with your own DJ or band and invite up to 250 people, which takes the headache out of leaving anyone out!

If all that wasn’t enough, Grand Central Hotel offers the perfect solution for family and friends travelling to the city to celebrate your big day, plus there’s bridal and honeymoon suites available to book too.
