Lantern Company’s Secret Winter Garden gets set to dazzle and Arriva are official sponsor
Bus operator, Arriva North West, have been announced as official sponsors of The Secret Winter Garden – a brand new winter lights event by internationally-renowned, Liverpool-based, Lantern Company.
The Secret Winter Garden, in partnership with Liverpool City Council, will be a unique, one-of-a-kind, festive adventure for all ages, set in the beautiful surroundings of Croxteth Hall’s stunning park and gardens, running each evening from December 13-16 and 19-22.
Lantern Company is the UK’s leading outdoor arts company and have become renowned for its high quality lantern events during the last ten years, with the huge success of its Halloween Lantern Carnivals at Sefton Park taking them all over the world to produce big scale events in the likes of London, Denmark and Hong Kong – a true Liverpool success story.

Myerscough College has permitted use of the walled gardens and provided space for fun, craft workshops in the lead up to the event, while through a partnership with Cobalt Housing, Lantern Company have also been running a drawing competition, working with several schools in the Croxteth area.
The Secret Winter Garden will feature a twilight artisan market curated by Open Culture, and will be stocked up with festive, seasonal crafts and tasty treats handmade by local artisans and craftspeople plus delicious, hot food and drink stands.
Guests can also purchase a lantern to take home with them, or a place on one of the workshops to make a mini lantern and tree decoration.
The Secret Winter Garden at Croxteth Hall and Country Park runs from December 13-16 and 19-22, each night from 4.30pm-9pm, with last entries at 7.30pm.
