Let’s Guide Liverpool to Glory

Excitement for the Champions League Final has been building all week and now the game is almost upon us.

Of course today’s roundup has all the last minute info you need on where you can watch the match tonight in Liverpool with lots of bars now doing ‘walk ups’. As well as that Liverpool ONE celebrate a massive milestone and we have loads of info on how you can help them celebrate.

Even the non-footy fans at Guide Liverpool HQ are finding themselves quietly singing ‘Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah, running down the wing.’ So, rather than sitting around the office pretending to be busy yesterday, we thought we’d get out and about on the streets of the city to get a feel for the level of support for Jurgen Klopp’s Mighty Reds.

We got people to pose with our banner in some iconic Liverpool locations and, whilst we were at it, we popped in to some of the pubs and bars to see where still has some space available for you to watch the big game. We’re good like that. Also included are the lyrics to a couple of Liverpool songs so you can get behind the boys (and because the boss asked me to write 500 words)

So read on, show your support and ‘Let’s Guide Liverpool to Glory’.

Yates’, Queen Square

Loads of space, loads of screens and a brand new menu for you to get stuck in during the pre-match sing-song.

Boston Pool Loft

Above the already sold-out McCooley’s on Concert Square, Boston Pool Loft are offering free entry on a first come first served basis. You might want to get their early to claim your spec.

There’s a great atmosphere here most days of the week so we expect it to absolutely go off tomorrow. Entry is free and the venue opens at 9am so we recommend you go for breakfast and just stay all day.

The William Gladstone

Free entry and 8-pint beer towers. Okay Mr. Gladstone, you’ve talked us into it.

Flanagan’s Apple

Let’s be honest, when the Reds win, Mathew Street is going to be mad. Get close to the action at Flanagan’s Apple, who are also doing free entry. Footy and Guinness is a magical combo.

The Sandon Complex

Make a day of it in the best Red’s pub around. ‘The Ultimate Champions League Carnival’ kicks-off at 10am and you can expect food stalls, live music, comedians and the company of Liverpool legends David Fairclough and Alan Kennedy. Open to all the family.

Level Nightclub

Massive venue, loads of big screens and just £5 a ticket, which you can get here. Last entry is 7pm so don’t be late!

24 Kitchen Street

Pizzas, pitchers and four big screens is tempting enough but when you throw in an afterparty with LOliFE and Lauren Lo Sung with Cinthie, you’re on to a winner. Tickets on the door for this one.

Allez, Allez, Allez lyrics

We’ve conquered all of Europe

We’re never gonna stop

From Paris down to Turkey

We’ve won the f***ing lot

Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly

The Fields of Anfield Road

We are loyal supporters

And we come from Liverpool

Allez Allez Allez (repeat four times)

Mo Salah Song lyrics (to the tune of Sit Down by James)

Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah

Running down the wing
