Steve has developed a love for Liverpool and it’s people since coming to work here more than 10 years ago. LIPA as a ‘companion’ hosting master classes for a new wave of music producers. Steve quickly fell in love with our humble city and has worked closely with a number of scouse artists too, including China Crisis and our fave red head, Sonja.

Chatting to our Jay at his private studio space at the Baltic Triangle, Steve said: “(Liverpool) is a fabulous place to base yourself, its a great hub, I love the city.”

Steve plays a pivotal role as a LIMF Academy Judge and his passion for creating original music and mentoring new talent from the Merseyside area has helped to launch the career of previous LIMF Academy place winners such as 17 year old Eleanor Nelly who signed her first record contract with Decca, earlier this year.
