Neighbourhood Liverpool opens it’s doors with a spectacular launch party
We have been shouting about it for months and months, and the day has finally arrived – Neighbourhood Liverpool has opened it’s doors on Castle Street to bring the city a new all day dining and late night party destination.
If the launch party was anything to go by then Neighbourhood really will be the new place to go and be seen in Liverpool. Guests including Colleen Rooney, Amanda Harrington and celebrity stylist Lorraine Mculloch enjoyed a sensational first night for the venue which is owned by East Coast Concepts.
It’s 62 Castle Street address maintains a host of its original features and offers a vibrant all-day dining destination specialising in sushi, seafood and steaks. It will be a corporate social hub throughout the week and offer a go to destination for a night out Thursday through to Sunday.
Neighbourhood Liverpool offers two private dining rooms catering for upwards of 30 guests and a mezzanine level which will be available to hire for private functions.
Brand Director, Ashley Williams said: “We’re really excited to bring the Neighbourhood brand to Liverpool. We’ve spent a lot of time here, looking at what’s already on offer and scoping out opportunities within the market. The brand is the ideal fit for the city.
“The venue is perfectly situated amongst the vibrant commercial district and we will also be looking to cater for and become involved with the thriving corporate clientele across the city.
“The restaurant and bar scene across the region has exploded since the Neighbourhood brand launched back in November 2013 in Manchester. The hospitality market in the North West remains buoyant and we want to make sure as a group we are at the forefront.
“We’re mixing things up in Liverpool. This will become our new flagship site, giving us the opportunity as a brand to introduce new concepts and ideas – we’re hoping to bring a little bit of Miami to Liverpool. ”
There will be a real focus on live music at Neighbourhood Liverpool with a roster of acts performing Thursday – Sunday. The team also announced last month that DJ, producer, remixer and radio presenter Anton Powers will be taking up a weekend residency at the venue.
James Hitchen, owner and founder of New-York inspired East Coast Concepts, secured a multi-million pound injection of development capital from North Edge earlier this year and has huge plans to expand the Neighbourhood brand across the North of England.
James said: “Now is a very exciting time in our journey and we have big growth plans across the group. The opening of Neighbourhood Liverpool will bring the company’s employee headcount over 200 and we’re planning to open a further three venues next year taking our unit count to six.”
