It was a record crowd in Liverpool this weekend as the International Mersey River Festival 2016 took over our beautiful waterfront. Over 250,000 people were in attendance across the three day festival which seen tall ships, air displays and thundercat racing along our waters together with a beautiful soundtrack of music from artists like Shola Ama, Tea Street Band, The Real Thing, Soul 2 Soul and headliner Billy Ocean.
It was revealed yesterday that the event was the biggest to date and that the Pier Head seen one of it’s largest festivals on record. Our Jay Hynd hosted the main stage throughout the weekend and was also backstage chatting to artists appearing.
