The Rocky Horror Show is coming back to Liverpool Empire with Duncan James

The weird and whacky musical that gets everyone dressed up to the nines is heading back to Liverpool.

Richard O’Brien’s critically-acclaimed stunning new production of The Rocky Horror Show is coming to the Liverpool Empire Theatre from in April 2019.

This time Blue Singer and Hollyoaks actor Duncan James will play Dr. Frank N. Furter.

Duncan James said: “Frank is such an iconic role, it’s an honour to be able to play him and a role that I have always wanted to do. I’m so excited to be touring with such a fun and vibrant show, and to be working with this fantastic cast.”

The musical tells the story of a couple stranded in a storm and taken in by crazy scientist Dr. Frank N Furter who unveils his new monster like creation in the from of a physically perfect muscle man, named Rocky Horror.

The legendary musical extravaganza is embarking on an extensive tour of the UK, playing the Liverpool Empire Theatre from Monday 29th April to Saturday 4th May.
