There’s an Elephant lost in the city and Pete Price is on the hunt!
A baby elephant has gone missing in Liverpool city centre and we’ve brought in the best detective to solve the case!
Brand new venture Baby E Coffee & Deli, Dale Street has been serving up delicious coffee, breakfast, lunch and deli items under the careful watch of its two pavement side elephant planters for less than 4 weeks and someone has decided to take baby elephant, little ‘Rosita’ on an extended holiday.
Luckily, Liverpool’s very own Columbo is on the case! Pete Price stopped by to indulge in a freshly prepared bagel and a generous helping of toasted banana bread, before setting out to find the great Elephant thief of Dale Street.
Situated below ground level at Temple Court, Baby E Coffee & Deli owners Lauren and Chris used the Elephant shaped stone planters to direct customers down the stairs into the vibrant new space to enjoy everything from lunch on the go, to a cheese and meat sharing board and glass of wine.
Disappointed to have suffered a loss as a new business and despite Pete’s best efforts, Lauren and Chris chalked ‘Rosita’ down as a lost cause and have added to their trunky-family with a new mascot and took to Instagram to ask the general public to name it!
Supporting our city’s thriving independent scene has never been more important, so if you’re looking for a new place to grab lunch, enjoy a coffee, impress a client or organise a little date night, check out Baby E Coffee & Deli on Dale Street, click here to check out the menus and website and prepare to drool on the Instagram page here.
