WATCH: Get your first look at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival 2018 as we go behind the scenes

We get a first look at some of the huge brands and local vendors setting up their stalls at this years festival.

The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival takes over Sefton Park this weekend, (15th-16th September 2018) and brings a magic mix of local and national food and drink vendors plus live entertainment, family fun, masterclasses and more.

Day tickets are just £7 and weekend tickets are only £11.50 when purchased in advance from the festival website www.septemberliverpoolfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk . This foodie paradise offers visitors the chance to taste test new cuisine from around the world plus wines, spirits, beers and of course, plenty of gin and prosecco too.

There’s a number of brand new vendors and big brand names making a beeline for Sefton Park for the first time, this weekend. You’ll find Crazy Pedro’s and The Florist making their debut alongside Food and Drink Festival stalwarts such as Neon Jamon, Red Door and Coco Baroque, visitors can enjoy wine tasting, cookery classes and face painting, while making their way around more than 30 of the finest eateries. We’ve rounded up 10 tasty treats you can tuck into at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival this weekend….

1 – Crazy Pedro’s

The team from the city’s wackiest pizza parlour, Crazy Pedro’s are bringing their ultimate slices to the festival this weekend. Two slices of Chippy Tea to go please guys!

2 – Neon Jamon

Are you ready for a seriously tasty take on a classic? Neon Jamon are back at Food and Drink with the stunning Octy-Dog and lots more of your favourite tapas style street food. Just look at that!

3 – The Florist

Liverpool’s most stylish bar and eatery, The Florist opened its doors earlier this year and has proven to be huge hit with cocktail and foodie fans alike. We can’t wait to see their setting in the park and hopefully taste test a floral cocktail too!!

4 – NYL Restaurant & Bar

Fancy a slice of New York chic with your lunch this weekend? NYC inspired venue, NYL Restaurant & Bar serves up the city’s first Liverpool Collection cocktails and we’re hoping for a Liverpool Lolly in the park.

5 – Dead Crafty Beer Company

Dale Street’s Dead Crafty Beer Company will be serving up a whole host of rare and guest beers at the Craft Beer Tent this weekend. If you know your Fresh & Blondes from your Zero to Sixty, we’ll know where to find you.

6 -Tandoori Naan Hut

We have to say we love the smells as much as the tastes at the Tandoori Naan Hut! Serving up freshly baked naan bread loaded with tasty toppings suitable for meat eaters and veggies alike. Nom!

7 – Frida’s

Southport based Mexican street food never looked or tasted so good! Get your fresh taco fix at Frida’s at the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival and don’t forget to snap a selfie next to the famous feminist legend street art while you’re there!

8 – Yorkshire Dizzle

If you’re a bit of a dab hand in the kitchen and on the look out for interesting new ingredients, you’re going to love Yorkshire Drizzle. This huge collection of infused oils is what your spagbol has been screaming out for!

9 – Hotel Chocolat

National brand Hotel Chocolat is bringing chocolate indulgence to Liverpool Food and Drink Festival. Official rated the best hot chocolate in the city (by our Kate) this is a great opportunity to treat yourself to a bit of top class cocoa…or a whole box!
