WATCH: Liverpool’s Biggest Weekend has arrived and we’ve got all the info in 2 minutes

The busiest weekend of the year so far is upon us and whether it’s footy, food or making memories with the family, we’ve got all the info you need.

Where do we start Liverpool? This weekend is literally packed with events and there truly is something for everyone.

Southport Food & Drink Festival brings three days of delicious food, drink and local produce to Victoria Park from Friday. Its free to enter and you can watch the Liverpool match there with Oktoberfest on Tour, details of that ticketed event here.

Bring your appetite to Castle St on Friday as all the bars and restaurants spill out on to the street for a day long celebration of food. The fun starts at 12pm and runs until 7pm so you can grab lunch, dine in the sun or get your tea after work. More info here.

Mumford & Sons play the M&S Bank Arena, Fiesta Bombarda take the rave underground and the Summer Arts Market returns to Liverpool Cathedral too. All that and more here.

River Festival Liverpool is back and takes over the entire waterfront with a huge programme of free entertainment. We’re talking tall ships, military displays, water sports, the magical whale song light projection and live music. All the line up here.

If you haven’t already seen Gaia, the 23ft replica of Earth at Liverpool Cathedral, now is a great time to check it out. Get a sneak peak here. If you fancy a top class tipple this weekend, the award winning Bordeaux wine festival returns to Pier Head, tickets here.

And of course, there’s the small matter of the Champions League Final! Liverpool take on Spurs in Madrid at 8pm on Saturday and we’ve got a huge list of city bars and venues showing the game, check that out here. We are of course hoping for a win in which case we’ll be lining the victory parade route through the city and down to The Strand from 4m on Sunday to see Klopp and the red men return triumphant.

It’s going to be a massive one!

Stick with us on and send us your phone pics and vids on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram across the weekend as we bring you all the action from across Merseyside, as they happen.
