Watch as we meet Everton legend Peter Reid as he launches his new autobiography

Everton great Peter Reid has had an amazing career – with loads of great stories to shout about.

Now, at the age of 61, he’s decided to write them all down in a brilliant new autobiography. The title of the book takes inspiration from the famous chant coined by Newcastle fans when Peter was in charge of Sunderland. ‘Cheer Up’ is out now and well worth a read.

The former midfielder spent seven years at Goodison, helping them win seven major honours, including the First Division twice.

Our Matt went down to meet him at the launch of his book to find out about some of his most cherished memories – including something hilarious that happened when he was playing at Anfield.
