VIDEO: We get a look inside Liverpool’s first ever official Octoberfest tent

For the first time ever Octoberfest has arrived in Liverpool. It takes over Exchange Flags for five days of German fun with all the works – lederhosen’s, live German music, and of course beer, and lots of it. A huge Munich style tent has been erected in Exchange Flags and 1,200 people are expected to fill it everyday between now and Sunday. Doors open tonight (Wednesday) from 4pm with a free ‘taster’ event and then the real fun begins, doors open at 4pm Thursday, with 2 sittings Saturday (11.30am and 6pm) and Sunday is more relaxed with a family feel to the event, children are welcome and doors open at 12pm.

Jay got a look inside the massive tent and caught up with Festival Organiser Stine Bloch Jensen about what we can expect from our first ever Octoberfest in the city.
