What’s on in Liverpool this week 19th-25th February 2018

It’s back to school, back to work and back to counting down to payday in Liverpool.

What a week we had in Liverpool last week. Valentine’s, pancakes, Cream Classical Ibiza and of course the phenomenal Chinese New Year celebrations, kept us all busy and is showing no signs of slowing down. What’s on in Liverpool this week features beer festivals, comedy, broadway shows, open mic, the stunning Rebecca Ferguson, Daft Punk on loop and plenty of food to tuck into.

Monday 19th February

ItalFresh and Maguire’s Monday Kitchen Take Over

Head down to Maguire’s, Renshaw St for Meat free Monday as Italfresh brings finger lickin’ Cauli Wings, Kingston Fries, Jerk Portabella wraps, Rum Soaked Banana Bread and more. Booking essential, here. 

The Baltic Sessions Open Mic, Baltic Social

The next Baltic Session kicks off at 7:30pm as performers from around the north west are invited to take to the stage and wow the crowds for as long as they please! Info here.

Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool, The Phil

There’s a screening of Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool at The Philharmonic Hall on Monday night at 7:30pm. The perfect venue to watch our city on the big screen. Tickets here.


Tuesday 20th February

Sunset Boulevard comes to the Liverpool Empire

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning musical Sunset Boulevard opens at the Liverpool Empire on Monday and stars Danny Mac and Ria Jones. The tour is receiving rave reviews already, get your tickets here.

Baa Bar launches Euphoria

There’s a brand new student night launching at Baa Bar, Fleet Street on Tuesday from 8pm. Euphoria is the city’s only free student night dedicated to House! More info here. 

HooHa Comedy Scratch Night

It’s just £3 on the door at Constellations to check out the finest local comedy acts and stands up hoping to make you howl with laughter. Fun starts at 7pm, more info here. 


Wednesday 21st February

Pop Up Dog Boutique, Calderstones Park

Dog Charmed returns to Calderstones Park with a five day pop up shop selling tonnes of cute and practical items for your four legged bestie. Opening times and info here. 

Chinese New Year lunch at Chung Ku, Riverside Drive

The City and the Value of Things, Everyman Theatre

Thursday 22nd February

Morrissey Day at The British Music Experience

Yoga By Candlelight at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory

Liverpool Beer Festival, Metropolitan Cathedral
