What’s on in Liverpool this week 4th-10th June 2018

We’re back with your weekly line up of all the best events and gigs in Liverpool.

It;s a huge week for music in the city as Positive Vibration returns to the Baltic, The Shires and Travis play the Liverpool Phil and we count down to LIMF. Elsewhere you’ll find us browsing the Albert Dock Makers Market, tucking into a Sunday Roast fit for a Viking and singling along to Legally Blonde at the Empire.

Monday 4th June

Smithdown Selects: Dance for Dogs, Buyers Club

It’s just £5 on the door a Buyers Club to help raise cash for the Liverpool branch of The Trusty Paws Clinic, who help provide much needed veterinary care to the dogs of the homeless and the vulnerable, this Monday night. So something good and get down there, DJ line up here. 

Leche Leche, Jenny’s

The ‘House’ party is at Jenny’s this Monday night as Disco makes way for Leche Leche, for one night only. Expect some classic 90’s bangers with a few modern gems thrown in for good measure and heaps of cheap booze. More info here. 

The Shires, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

The biggest selling UK Country act of all time, The Shires, bring their third, highly anticipated album, ‘Accidentally on Purpose’ to the Liverpool Phil on Monday night. Expect massive country-pop choruses and emotive words. Tickets here. 

Tuesday 5th June

Legally Blonde, Liverpool Empire

Everyone’s favourite law graduate comes to the Liverpool Empire Theatre this week with former X Factor star Lucie Jones playing the brilliant Elle Woods and Eastenders’ Roxy, Rita Simons as Paulette Bonafonte. The musical is in town until Saturday, get your tickets here. 

Tekno Disco Liverpool Launch Party, North Troubadour

Making its debut in Liverpool, Tekno Disco is on a mission to showcase the best music from great artists and students alike with two rooms bursting with talent. For students, by students. Find out more here.

Wednesday 6th June

Tinderella, Frederiks

Alien & A Slice, Maguires Pizza Bar

England V Costa Rica, Coyote Ugly

Friday 8th June

Sounds Familiar at Camp & Furnace

Dirty Dancing & Grease at Blundell Street

Positive Vibration Festival of Reggae, Baltic Triangle

Saturday 9th June

International Drake Day, The Merchant

Soundtracks Special, EBGB’s

State Reunion, CIRCO

Sunday 10th June

Albert Dock Makers Market, Albert Dock

Spend your Sunday wandering more than 60 stalls on the beautiful waterfront as the Albert Dock Makers Market returns for a second year. Fill your bag with goodies such as arts, crafts, vintage clothing, tasty food and more. Details here. 

Sunday Roast: The Viking, West Kirby

We’re heading across the water to the beautiful West Kirby to tuck into a stellar sunday lunch at The Viking Pub & Bakehouse. Just look at that Yorkshire pudding!! Menus and more here. 

Travis, Philharmonic Hall
