What’s on in Wirral Spring 2019?

The beautiful Wirral peninsula blooms in to life with events and activities this Spring.

Awarded Royal Park status in 1376, Wirral really comes into its own during Spring. From Sunday strolls at Wirral Country Park, to the views from Bidston Hill, stepping back in time at Port Sunlight and an unforgettable experience walking out to Hilbre Island, Wirral is truly a place to get out and explore.

After a sensational programme of events that shone a spotlight on Wirral in 2018, including a Giant visit, 2019 is set to follow suit with more cultural activities and sporting events including the Tour of Britain. Spring is also the best time to take the kids to any one of the Wirral farms and outdoor play areas. We love Brimstage Maze, Tam O’Shanter Farm and Church Farm, Thurstaston for long goes on the swings and tasty cakes and coffee.

Spring also brings the chance to tap into the growing al fresco café culture across Wirral. New Brighton’s Victoria Road is undergoing a revamp in time for the return of the Spring sunshine, while the legendary Nicholls Parkgate ice-cream and West Kirby coffee shops dust off the pavement tables and chairs. All that’s missing is you!
