What’s on this week in liverpool 15th – 21st July 2019

Festival vibes, fierce sporting action, tasty eats and summer cocktails. We’ve got an incredible line up of events for you this week in Liverpool.


LIMF 2019 offers up an unmissable line up of live music and DJ’s for two days at Sefton Park. Also this week in Liverpool, Cream Classical in the Park brings the club beats while the fierce sporting action continues at the Vitality Netball World Cup, building up to the final on at the weekend – and we’ve got a royal visit at Cruise Liverpool.

Elsewhere we’ve got morning meditation, Friday night live music and cocktails in the city, a stellar Sunday roast and fun at Knowsley Safari for the kids. Book that bottomless brunch now because you’re definitely going to need it!

Monday 15th July

Vitality Netball World Cup 2019

What an incredible few days of world class sport we’re enjoyed! The Vitality Netball World Cup opening games has led to a thrilling second round at the M&S Bank Arena and Official Fan Park at Liverpool ONE. Who will triumph this week? Tickets and fan park events here.

Opening Day, 200 Degrees Coffee, MetQuarter

The vinyl is coming off! 200 Degrees Coffee opens its doors at MetQuarter on Monday from 7:30am! The team is firing up the Black Eagle coffee machine to kick start your day. Find out more here. 

Jaws, Picturehouse at FACT

The Guide Liverpool - FACT Psych Fest

The greatest, spine-tingling monster movie of all time is making a big screen comeback at FACT on Monday night from 8pm. Jaws on the big screen! Just watch you don’t launch your popcorn. Tickets here. 


Tuesday 16th July

Queen Mary 2, Cruise Liverpool

We’ve got a royal visit lined up for Tuesday. Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 makes a highly anticipated return to Liverpool, the first since the Three Queens event in 2015. Get to Cruise Liverpool before the sail away around 8pm for some stunning pictures. More info here.

Scouse Pacific, Royal Court Theatre

If you still haven’t seen Keith Haring at Tate Liverpool, where have you been? Jump on board the Arriva Keith Haring bus and head to the Royal Albert Dock to check out this truly inspiring exhibition. Tickets here.

Cream Classical in the Park

LIMF Fringe Events

Saturday 20th July

LIMF 2019

This is it! Day one of the biggest music festival in our city and the line up is out of this world. Central Stage, hosted by our very own Jay Hynd features the likes of Sigma, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Ella Eyre, YXNG Bane, Anton Powers, Maverick Sabre and more.

The Chills, Punch Tarmey’s

Liverpool’s one stop Irish bar in the Baltic, Punch Tarmey’s plays host to The Chills on Saturday from 9pm. Expect all your favourite indie bangers from this north west based covers band. More info here. 

Buyers Club Garden Party

LIMF 2019

Vitality Netball World Cup Final 2019

The Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 comes to a thrilling end this week in Liverpool. After 12 days of fierce competition there will be a celebrity charity match and family activities at the Liverpool ONE based Fan Park on Sunday, followed by a medal ceremony to crown the world champs at the M&S Bank Arena. National Ice Cream Day, Southport
