It’s the first weekend of the brand new year, let’s make it a good one.

For a Sunday Feast

Red Dog Saloon, Bold Street

If there’s one thing we’re definitely taking into 2019 it’s the whole hog feast at American eatery Red Dog Saloon. This Bold Street venue gives you meat sweats on arrival and serves up this massive hog with loads of sides, perfect for a group get together. Menus and more here. 


For Drinks

Salt Dog Slims, Seel Street

Friday night cocktails are go as Salt Dog Slim’s serves up happy hour concoctions until 8pm which means you can sip/chug your faves for just a fiver. The Pink Panther is still our first choice but who doesn’t love a good Hobo Punch? Free hot dog with your first beer too! Info here. 


For Party Vibes

Bring You Own Booze, Pyjama Party, Sound

Billed as an event for the ‘economically challenged’ which lets face it, is all of us! Sound is hosting the Bring Your Own Booze Basement Pyjama Party on Saturday from 7pm. If you’ve worked all over Christmas, this is a boss way to chill and party in your pjays. Disco and deckchairs guaranteed! Info here.

Escape Hunt, Royal Albert Dock

Royal Albert Dock’s latest edition involves locking you in a room for an hour and throwing away the keys!
